Establish and check of
the moment of ignition |

The moment of ignition to establish with a stroboscope easier. For
check of installation of the moment of ignition there are three
labels: 1, 2, 3. Combination of labels 1 and 2 corresponds to the
top dead point of the piston in the first and fourth cylinders.
To check up and establish the ignition moment it is possible by
means of a stroboscope. For this purpose it would be necessary to
connect a clip "+" strobo-skopa to a clip of the coil
of ignition, and then "weights" - with an unpainted part
of a body of the checked car. To insert between a wire of a candle
of the first cylinder with a candle an adapter for connection of
a stroboscopic lamp and to designate a chalk for more visibilities
a label on a pulley of a cranked shaft; to start the engine, directing
a blinking stream of light of a stroboscope on a label on a pulley;
if the ignition moment is established correctly, at engine idling
the visible label 1 should be opposite to a label 3.
If the ignition moment is established incorrectly, it is necessary
to stop the engine, to weaken a nut of fastening of the distributor
and to turn it on a necessary corner. For increase in a corner of
an advancing of a corner of ignition the distributor case needs
to be turned counter-clockwise, and for reduction - clockwise. Then
again to check up installation of the moment of ignition.
By means of the diagnostic stand with an oscilloscope also it is
possible to check up installation of the moment of ignition.
